WHAT’S INSIDE WHERE TO NOW ADVENTURES?

where to now adventures

I will cover international travel and road trips (mainly in the US but we also do them abroad as well). I love them both equally.  I’ll go over all the ins and outs.  How we found the best flight/car deals.  Where to stay, eat, visit, etc.  I’ll also share my travel tips, lessons learned, and tell you of ways to save money!
All my recommendations and reviews are based solely on my own experience. My blog is not in any way influenced by a third party.  I’ll always keep it real with you.
The types of adventures I enjoy and will write about are not the adrenaline ones. You won’t see posts on bike riding at night through Kruger National Park or Fly fishing in the Nile river or me jumping out of or off anything on my site.  There are lots of other blogs out there if you are looking for crazy ass shit to do.
We love historic towns and historical buildings (pretty much anything that has to do with history). While we’re not fond of spending time at museums when on vacation, we will visit one here and there.  I prefer to be outdoors and experiencing the town/village/building that I’m visiting.
I love national and state parks! There are so many great ones out there and I want to visit as many as possible.  You will definitely see material on this subject.  Hiking is one of my favorite activities.

Beaches, Mountains, Volcanos, Rainforests, and pretty much anything outdoors get my attention whenever I’m trying to decide on the next destination.  To me a great vacation involves a balance of the city and nature and I strive to achieve this in my travels and posts.
Speaking of balance, my type of travel can be broken down into 3 equal parts.  Travel with my wife, travel with my wife and kids, and travel alone for work.  Every so often we’ll vacation with friends and/or family but for the most part it’s one of the above.
When it comes to travel budgeting and spending, I stay even keeled in both business and pleasure trips. This means moderate accommodations (3-4 star hotels) and flying economy class.  I will splurge on a bougie hotel for an anniversary or special occasion but for the most part I stick to my plan.  I use public transportation or Ubers when available and book my personal trips with credit card points, FF miles, and hotel points as much as I can.

Futbol and Football are my sports of choice. I follow la seleccion Mexicana (the Mexican National Team) religiously and make it a point to wear a Mexico jersey in every country I visit.  I’m also a New England Patriot fan.  Traveling to watch my teams play stateside and abroad is a must and will definitely be posted about.

U2 is my wife’s favorite band of all time and I promised her that we would incorporate their concerts into our future travel plans.  So when they announce their next tour, you already know we’ll be covering it.

I think this list should give you an idea of what you’ll find on my blog.  But my biggest hope is that one of my posts will inspire you to get on the road or plane and visit those places you’ve always dreamed of.  So that when you return from that adventure, you too will ask yourself, where to now?
